Technology
Xanda use the latest in web technologies to deliver innovative, attractive, and powerful websites, including but not limited to: HTML, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, React, GoLang, Laravel, Java, JQuery, XML, MySQL, C, and Objective C.
Design Process
After the kick-off with your PM, we will prepare designs to meet your design brief and adjust them as per your feedback. The service includes up to 5 rounds of design and feedback which should be more than sufficient. If required, you can purchase an additional 5 design iterations at the heavily discounted rate of £275+VAT.
Social Media
Xanda will integrate “share this” links throughout the website to encourage site visitors to share pages on their own social media channels. We’ll also provide links to your social media pages and encourage users to follow / like your pages.
Google Translate
(Optional) Upon request, Xanda will incorporate the Google Translate functionality. A drop-down list will appear for users to select from 65 different languages. Upon doing so, all text on the website will be instantly translated (relatively well) by the Google translate engine.
Website Statistics
We’ll connect your GA4 and Google Analytics accounts.
EU cookie law compliance
Xanda will integrate our Cookie Law Compliance module, alerting users to any use of cookies on the site.
EU GDPR Compliance
Xanda will add GDPR-compliant (informed consent) opt-in tick boxes at all data collection points. The client will supply the Privacy Policy document. Upon request Xanda can introduce you to solicitors to prepare the document.
Website Emails
In order to avoid emails sent from the website being marked as spam, Xanda will integrate (where possible) an account from your business email server into your website. We will require the username, password, and SMTP server URL for the nominated account to use for website emails. For Exchange, Gmail, or IMAP servers, all website emails will appear in the account’s Sent Items folder.
Mobile Responsive
Xanda websites are fully mobile and touch optimised. Your website will perform perfectly, whether viewed from a mobile, tablet, or large desktop monitor. Site admins can also update the site on the go via the mobile-optimised CMS.
Content Management System (CMS)
The website will be built with a powerful CMS. Xanda use the latest version of WordPress, which together with our own enhancements, give our clients the tools to manage their website’s content and bespoke features with minimal IT skills and from any Internet-enabled device.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
The website code will be search engine optimised. Admins can manually define keywords on any particular page in order to target specific key phrases.
Infrastrutural (tecnical) SEO
As part of the core development, Xanda will:
- Implement page titles, descriptions, and meta tags
- Allow Admins to manually add SEO meta-tags to media content added to the site
- Implement relevant, readable, and content-optimised page URLs
- Canonical URLs to indicate preferred site URLs
- A dynamically created XML & HTML sitemap
- Useful 404 page
- Clear and hierarchical heading tag structure
- 301 redirects are added where required
- Google Analytics is installed
- Google / Bing Webmaster Tools are installed
- Live feeds from your social media platforms are integrated where possible
- Google Authorship and Publisher meta links
- Facebook Open Graph meta links
- Twitter Card meta links are added to the site header
- Microdata and schema.org mark-up are integrated where possible

Content Entry
The client will supply all site content. Xanda will upload the initial content of the site (up to 35 pages). Post launch content will be managed by the client via the CMS. This service may be invoiced separately.
Training
Full remote training will be available to your team on using the CMS and administering the website.
