Six months have now passed since Microsoft finally killed off their support of Windows XP after more than 13 years of being one of the most successful and popular operating systems ever created. With XP retired, Microsoft ended active support for Internet Explorer 8, and without vendor support, so have we (we did give it six months to before we said a final goodbye!).
Xanda support all browsers in active vendor support as standard, however we can of course still add additional support for retired browsers as an optional extra. This means we can concentrate on the latest and greatest web standards, pushing our websites and clients forward rather than constantly looking backwards. With an HTML5 compatibility test of less than 6%, it was time to wave goodbye, so here’s a fond farewell to an old, but very much obsolete friend.
