What are rich cards? They are swipeable carousels that appear underneath search snippets. They allow site owners an opportunity to let searchers preview individual pieces of content before clicking through.

By building Rich Cards, you have a new opportunity to attract more engaged users to your page. Users can swipe through restaurant recommendations from sites like TripAdvisor, TimeOut and others.

While not a requirement, Google recommends using AMP HTML for local restaurant pages because of the speed benefit it provides to users.

When users search for businesses on Google Search or Maps, Search results may display a prominent Knowledge Graph card with details about a business that matched the query. When users query for a type of business, such as a restaurant, they may see a carousel of listings hosted by restaurant listing providers.
