Not about selling
Using social media is about being social and does not mean giving your customers the hard sell. It will not work in your favour if you only post about your brand, products and services. It’s important to demonstrate that you can interact with people, show that you are an industry expert and engage on topics relating to your business.

Sharing
By listening to what your customers are talking about and then sharing relevant news, updates and articles with them you will find that you begin to build an audience. Posting content that your customers are interested in means they are more likely to share with their friends, and their friends with their friends and so on.
